(life) and "Veda"
(knowledge) are 2 words
out of the the indian classical language Sanskrit. The idea is "The wisdom of a long and healthy life"
and is used as a form of health promotion for the regeneration of your inner balance. In the center of the Ayurveda concept are the three Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha
. Ayurveda is teaching that all phenomena including our bodies are composed of the five elements Aether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth
. These elements are associated in the three fundamental forces of Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Every person belongs to a specific type of Ayurveda. These types form the base of an individual appropriate lifestyle.
The goal of Ayurveda is to balance
the three fundamental forces for a healthy and well-adjusted person.
